02-06 Acura RSX Type S Serpentine (Drive) Belt Change

DIY information by EddyNguyen924 from Clubrsx.com

BELT:
I used the OEM belt from Acura:

02-04 RSX Type S Belt part # 38920-PRB-013

05-06 RSX Type S belt part # 38920-PRC-023

1.) Jack up the front of your car!, Take passenger wheel off if you must. (not necessary)

2.) How it looks:

3.) Unclip the Power Steering Reservoir:

4.) You have to wrench the auto-tensioner to relieve tension from the belt (red arrow is the auto-tensioner):

5.) I use 9/16 wrench and a long pole for leverage, the pole have to have a opening to stick the wrench in like a extension. (or whatever you have for leverage):

6.) Turn it CLOCKWISE (to the front of your car) to relieve the tension, while still holding the pole, pry the old belt out from the top. (2 people would be easier, one holding the pole and the other prying out the belt.):

7.) Once the top part of the belt is off you can let go off the pole and pull off the rest of the old belt.

8.) Now put on the new belt using the diagram for reference. Start from the bottom toward the top! Once you get to the top turn the wrench the auto-tensioner CLOCKWISE and hold it and put the top part of the belt on):

9.) Finally, Check the tension indicator to make sure its inside B! (if outside i believe its to big or small)

DONE !
